Since having children, I have struggled with my weight creeping up and keeping any level of fitness. Balancing a career and family life I have struggled to diet without any commitment.
I didn't have a goals other than I wanted those lbs to shift on the scale, I now know I was setting myself up to fail.
I started exercising with Girl Power fitness at the start of the year and continued online as lockdown started, I was doing a over 10 sessions a week but my weight wasn't changing, as my eating habits hadn't changed.
During early lockdown I took part in a girl power motivation workshop which included some coaching around Goal setting.
I also did the nutrition workshop, both of these online courses gave me the empowerment and nutritional information I needed to give me focus to set realistic goals for myself.
I am now 5 months into the transformation project and I have been smashing the goals I set myself early on and have moved to making new longer term goals.
I have learnt so much about myself during my journey so far, Having a very knowledgeable and real coach in Aleasha with that individual accountability and personal support on the project has worked for me.
I would certainly recommend this approach for anyone looking for a sustainable approach to weight loss or improving fitness.
I’ve always struggled with my weight and, as a result, my self esteem.
During lockdown I started doing Clubbercise and then the other classes that Aleasha does and found that it gave me something other than the crap situation to concentrate on.
I also started to notice how good I felt after exercising.
When the Transformation Project was started I thought, why not...what a perfect time to really put all my energy into looking after myself?!
After almost 6 months I’m down 2.5 stone, gone from a size 14-16 to a size 10 and I have muscles where I never knew I should. My confidence is sky high and I feel unstoppable.
It doesn’t feel like I’ve given up any of the treats I enjoyed.
I get a real buzz from working out and seeing what I can achieve and I’m no longer dressing to hide myself from the world, I’m wearing what I want to and feeling good about myself.
If you’re in a place where you feel like you want to make a change, for confidence, health or whatever you really should give the project a go.
The help and support I’ve had from the group and Aleasha has really pushed me. I never thought I could come this far and look at me now!
To date Tracey has lost an Incredible 12 stone.
About 2 years ago when she began my Clubbercise classes Tracey was 24 stone in weight and wasn't regularly exercising.
With the help of our Clubbercise classes she lost around 10 stone.
Here is Tracey's story....
I had lost a massive amount of weight over the previous 2 years with S.W. but something still didn't feel right, I felt sluggish lacking in energy and a lot of body fat still hanging around. I didn't actually know where to go or what to do next I knew there had to be something else...I then heard Aleasha was doing a nutrition workshop so I thought I would take a look I was amazed what I learned how to make your body work for you!
I was scared to embrace as scared of change, but Aleasha then wanted 10 people to do a transformation challenge so I thought here goes... Its taught me so much, definitely not to step on the scales all the time, to eat a variety of good foods and how to fuel your body correctly and enjoy the nice things in life
Its not a diet! Its life changing and very much sustainable! I was amazed by my first 30 days progress in how I felt in myself so much more energy. my fitness level had changed completely and my confidence grew massively.
In 5 months I have lost 1 stone 6lb and 25inches. Thanks to Aleasha for being there everyday to have that accountability and guiding me through this journey!
Almost 3 years ago I joined the best group of ladies in the world and took that first step on my own through the door at Clubbercise, with the mind process that I needed to try improve my mental health. What came next I could never have guessed.
I actually thought I’d do a couple of classes and never go back.
However I’ve been inspired, encouraged and laughed and cheered my way through many exercise classes and my own fitness journey. I’ve moved from the back to the front of classes. I’ve gone from exercising in the dark to braving those classes in the light. I’ve been encouraged to use weights in my exercise and not just stick to cardio.
After hearing all the inspiration stories from all the ladies in the group (including the instructor) and hearing people believe in me more than I believed in myself,
6 months ago I stepped in to the transformation project to really focus on my goals. I’ve been on and off plan more than I can count. I’ve struggled. I’ve smashed it. I’ve disappeared on people. I’ve talked peoples ears off. I’ve been all over the place. My instructor however has been a constant, sticking by me 100% telling me what I needed to hear or giving me space to figure it myself, Thankyou to Aleasha for never giving up on me and not letting me give up on myself, ever!
4 stone difference. Still a way to go on my journey but I’ve come a long way.
To anyone needing any support on their journey. Hit this strong amazing woman up. She’s changed my mindset, my health, my life. Here’s to the next year in my journey!
After many years of trying different diets I decided it was time to change, after seeing some photos of myself I was always hiding away, I felt like I’d lost control.
I had previously done the nutrition workshop with Aleasha
I decided to commit and give project transformation a try to see if this was the correct journey for me. And here I am still here enjoying every minute 6 months on!
I was not disappointed!
I am now part of a very supportive group of ladies who help, encourage and support each other .
My commitments were to move more. Track what I eat and to make time to plan, my main focus was to feel better /stronger from within (Body confidence is my next challenge )
And with daily logs and mindset diary’s I felt accountable to Aleasha , anything I was struggling with she will reply giving lots of help and advice along with praise and encouragement.
The foundation of my unhappiness was what helped me make the decision that it was time for me to take a chance and make some changes . Exercise has helped improve my focus . No big sacrifices just to commit to myself to be the best I can be .
So far I have lost 24 inches and 1st 2lb
